who we are
Bob and Judy Astley, along with their children, Derek Astley and Jennifer Astley-Kinsey, founded the Astley Family Foundation in 2005.
All four of the founding members were interested in helping youth realize their potential. They also learned that there were relatively few funders for worthy programs serving youth. The Foundation’s core mandate of serving youth in Waterloo Region has remained unchanged since inception and is described in this website.
The Foundation also includes a donor-advised fund.
